Olivier presents us Sheryl Sandberg, the current COO of Facebook and former VP at Google. This businesswoman has managed to carve her out a place in an environment dominated mainly by men. Her journey was full of pitfalls and she had to deal with a multitude of prejudices and inappropriate behaviors. Nevertheless, she has managed to stand out and demonstrate the added value of women as executives.
Instead of asking herself the classic question, either choosing between career and family, Sheryl Sandberg opted for conciliation between both. Moreover, why should we make this choice when we should all share family responsibilities within the couple?
To all of those who have not had the chance to read her book LEAN IN, Olivier encourages you to get a copy. This also applies to you, gentlemen!
Michelle Obama does not really need presentation anymore. Former First Lady of the United States, she marked Émilie by her grace, by her involvement with young girls, but also by her humor. Rarely have we seen a First Lady with such charisma and leading many philanthropic initiatives.
She shines by her eloquence and is definitely considered as an outstanding communicator. Émilie still hopes that Michelle Obama will become the first female president of the United States.
For Johanny, the female inspiration par excellence in the world of graphic design is Paula Scher, one of the pioneers of graphic design as we know it today. Johanny had heard about her in school, but when she watched the Abstract episode on Paula Scher, she realized the extent of her influence.
Paula Scher is the first notable woman who joined the world's largest independent design studio, Pentagram. She works for the biggest American corporations and her philosophy of design and creativity connect with our own graphic designer!
